The 2024-2025 winter mercato has arrived (throughout January), so the rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. Today, PSG Inside Actus explains that PSG is receiving nothing but disappointing offers for its players being pushed towards the exit: Milan Skriniar (29-year-old central defender), Randal Kolo Muani (26-year-old striker) and Marco Asensio (28-year-old midfielder/striker).
“Paris Saint-Germain really is a cash cow. So far, Paris has only received loan requests for Skriniar, Asensio and Kolo Muani. The latter two have been turned down. No news for Skriniar.”
Unfortunately, it will be difficult for PSG to find any really interesting transfers this winter. Winter is still closed, and the players invited to leave are logically not the most tempting.
However, it’s possible that Paris will be able to do better than “dry” loans (without an option to buy). But we can’t expect them to settle. Especially when the wages are so high. We’re still hopeful, though, as we’re talking about talented players who could attract interest. All that remains is to negotiate, and hope that the players are prepared to make a minimum of effort.
