As always, Luis Enrique’s choices are hard to guess. He knows how to surprise everyone, and he relies on fierce competition, particularly in training. All of this is done with a precise analysis of the opponent, and whether or not to use the space available.
To achieve this, the Spanish coach has some excellent options in his squad, with versatility and very few absences. The first leg of the Champions League play-off against Brest on Tuesday will inevitably play a part in the choices made.
