Serif Nhaga, a 19-year-old left-back who was under contract at Paris Saint-Germain until 2025 following his arrival in January 2023, has failed to establish himself in the capital despite some hope during the summer of 2023. While he was in the reserve team this season, he has officially left for Sampdoria (Serie B).
For a few weeks, it looked as if Nhaga might gradually find his place at PSG. Especially since Nuno Mendes (22) was suffering from a succession of physical problems. However, coach Luis Enrique turned to other options. Clearly, the young full-back wasn’t entirely convincing.
Having been in the reserve team this season, we’re not surprised that he’s keen to try another adventure. We can only wish him every success and fulfilment at Sampdoria.
