Luis Campos arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2022, replacing sporting director Leonardo, but with a special role as “soccer advisor”. His track record is a regular topic of debate, and rumours of a departure have resurfaced this summer, as well as that of a contract extension. Le Parisien asserts this Sunday that nothing has yet been decided, but there is a possible replacement.
“Andrea Berta approached!
By outside influences, he would be pushed by Jorge Mendes!
But the club is playing for time, as Campos would like to stay!
PSG want long-term stability.
Two words would support a new mandate for Campos.
Le Parisien.”
We remain cautious, as this is still just a rumor in this habitual case. Nothing concrete. The situation therefore remains very unclear. Campos could simply extend his stay at PSG, even if a departure is conceivable. As for his eventual replacement, it’s far too early to be certain. In any case, the season seems to be proving the current sporting management right.
