Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old French national team striker who was struggling at Paris Saint-Germain, has been loaned out to Juventus Turin until the end of the 2024-2025 season without an option to buy. He initially bounced back well, and the Turin club announced its intention to keep him. However, this has yet to materialize, and we are awaiting an official announcement. In the mixed zone after the victory over Germany with Equipe de France, he gave an update on the Club World Cup.
“I’m very happy to have been able to play a bit more for both club and country. I’m very happy at Juventus, I hope to continue there, they’ve given me a warm welcome and I’m enjoying myself. I’m leaving with them for the Club World Cup”, comments relayed by L’Equipe.
That at least makes one point clear, and putting an end to rumours is always welcome. Unfortunately, the rest remains unclear, and the outcome could be relatively far in the future. This may depend on performances during the competition and opportunities at the mercato.
So we’ll have to wait and see, and hope that Kolo Muani can build on his good months at Juventus. Either to stay there or to attract attractive offers.
