Lucas Beraldo, 21-year-old Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil defender, answered a few questions from PSG TV‘s “barbershop” section. In particular, he talked about his role models and life in Paris.
Beraldo “They’re incredible players who inspire me a lot.”
Was your father, a former player, a role model?
Yes, I think the key for me is my father, because he played and he always talked to me about what to do and what I could improve. So I’ve been able to follow in his footsteps and carry on the way I do.
Any other role models off the pitch?
My father has always been my idol on the pitch, like Marquinhos and Thiago Silva. They’re incredible players who inspire me a lot.
What surprised you most about Paris?
I love living in Paris, it’s an incredible life. Being able to see the Eiffel Tower every day and the Parisian way of life, it’s great to live here.
Beraldo “Experiencing all this with my teammates is a great opportunity.”
Fashion?
Yes, it’s incredible too (smile). Everyone has their own personality and does what they want. It’s great.
Your moustache is a bit of a signature. How often do you go to the barber?
(smiles) Every 2 weeks or a little less to get my hair just right, mustache and beard too.
Your first big trip to the United States. What’s exciting about it?
Everything. It’s a unique experience. It’s the first time for a lot of things. Experiencing all this with my teammates is a great opportunity.
