This Saturday evening, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 (video summary PSG/Bayern Munich) in the quarter-finals of the 2025 World Cup. After qualifying for the semi-final next Wednesday at 9pm, we had to wait for the match between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund to find out who the opposition would be. Real Madrid won 3-2.
We’ll be reunited with PSG’s all-time top scorer, Kylian Mbappé. PSG are one match away from having played every possible match this season. There will be plenty of stories to tell about this semi-final. Dortmund didn’t lose out, as did Bayern Munich, but history will remember that the two most effective teams won.
