While awaiting news from the professional squad, Paris Saint-Germain recently announced a large wave of signings from its Espoirs team. According to Le Parisien, a 6th arrival has materialized with Mohamed Amine El Idrissi, a 20-year-old midfielder who used to play for Amiens in National 3.
“After announcing five reinforcements (Luvambano, Mhand, Lucea, Domingos, Bezeme), and soon to name its new coach, who is expected to be Jean-François Vulliez, PSG has signed a sixth member of its U-21 squad: Mohamed Amine El Idrissi, midfielder, at the end of his contract at Amiens, for one season.

It would be surprising for the Parisian newspaper to take a chance on such a dossier, as it has generally been very reliable about this Espoirs group. El Idrissi should therefore come to strengthen this PSG squad, with perhaps a hope of catching the eye and getting a small opportunity in the professional group at some point, at least with a place in training. Or perhaps a springboard to another professional squad.
To do this, he’ll need to be as serious and hard-working as possible, and not forget to concentrate on his career with the Groupe Espoirs. In any case, we wish him every success. If his signature is confirmed, because it’s not official yet, we’ll have to be a little cautious.
