On Sunday evening, Paris Saint-Germain will conclude their 2024-2025 season with the Club World Cup final against Chelsea. The Parisians will then be on vacation, with a resumption date for the 2025-2026 season announced by RMC Sport.
“According to our information, unless there are any last-minute changes, PSG is due to resume training on Monday August 4, for a day dedicated to medical examinations.
The Parisian players will return to training on Tuesday August 5, leaving the reigning French champions less than ten days to prepare for the UEFA Supercup final against Tottenham in Udine on August 13.”
It would be surprising for the sports media to take a chance, and these dates correspond to the 3 weeks provided for in the rules for players. It would be difficult for PSG to do otherwise, with the competition returning on August 13 with the European Supercup and Ligue 1 a few days later.
A very complicated calendar, that’s the disadvantage of going to the end of all competitions. Let’s hope coach Luis Enrique and his staff find the best solutions. We can at least count on the professionalism of this group.
