Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old French national team striker who is struggling at Paris Saint-Germain, has been loaned to Juventus until the end of the 2024-2025 season with no option to buy. The Turin club and the player quickly expressed their desire to continue together. However, an agreement with PSG has still not been reached and other issues are being raised, particularly in the Premier League. The Caughtoffside says that Manchester United have tried their luck. In vain, so far.
Juventus only in mind?
The France international, valued at around €60m by PSG, still favours a permanent transfer to Juventus, sources with links to the agents industry have informed CaughtOffside.
Kolo Muani spent time on loan at Juve last season and is keen to return there, though the Serie A giants have so far been unable to reach an agreement with PSG.
Sources then alerted CaughtOffside to the fact that this led to Man Utd making contact over a possible deal for Kolo Muani.
However, the player was not keen, according to our source, with other well-placed figures backing this up.
Another source indicated to CaughtOffside that the Red Devils “could step in again” if Kolo Muani cannot get his move to Juventus.”
It’s hard to say where Kolo Muani will ultimately play next season. While we’re wary of rumors, it’s at least clear that he’s still not back at Juventus. There’s no certainty that negotiations with PSG will move forward, although there’s still hope. The striker is clearly focused on that option for the moment.
But could he close all doors until the end? That might also depend on the offers. There hasn’t been anything concrete, so it’s difficult to see clearly. We’re obviously hoping for a solution. It would be sad for both the player and Paris to see him stuck. And another chance at PSG isn’t on the agenda.
