This Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain (15th) take on Arsenal (16th) at Emirates Stadium for Matchday 2 of the 2024-2025 Champions League (kick-off 9pm, broadcast on Canal+Foot). On the eve of the match, Le Parisien has put forward a likely Parisian line-up.
Barcola – Lee – Kolo Muani
Neves – Vitinha – Zaïre-Emery
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma.
An entirely feasible team, especially with Ousmane Dembélé sidelined by coach Luis Enrique. A player is needed to occupy the right flank, and Kolo Muani is a viable option.
Lee could do it too, but winger really isn’t his best position at PSG. As a false 9, he has been impressive and could have the opportunity to confirm this. Especially as Marco Asensio is back from injury and probably not at 100%.
On the flank, Désiré Doué could also come to mind, except that he’s also on his way out of the infirmary. But let’s wait and see. And let’s not forget midfield, where Fabian Ruiz could have his say.
