On Sunday at Groupama Stadium, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Olympique Lyonnais 3-2 in Matchday 12 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for the best PSG player of the game. Vitinha (25-year-old midfielder) won.
It was a fairly logical victory, as Vitinha was once again the master of the midfield. With some magnificent passes, including an assist for Warren Zaïre-Emery (19-year-old midfielder), he impressed everyone. He also put in a tremendous defensive shift.
We would like to see a bit more competition for him, but it’s difficult to keep up with the Portuguese player. And it’s clear that this is a somewhat physically demanding time for the PSG players. Lee Kang-In (24-year-old midfielder/forward) still managed to show some impressive performances, as did João Neves (21-year-old midfielder). Both were also instrumental in the winning goal, which earned them points. Zaïre-Emery thus finds themselves outside the top three despite a good performance and a goal.
