On Matchday 13 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faces Le Havre at the Parc des Princes this Saturday at 9:05 PM CET. It’s a match they need to approach well to secure first place before returning to European competition. There are a few other interesting fixtures.

The matches:

PSG hosting Le Havre should be a good way to get back into the swing of things in the league. Even though Le Havre won’t be coming to give them anything for free, they’ll need to refocus immediately after the international break. They must be careful not to think too much about the Champions League, which resumes this Wednesday with the visit of Tottenham. They’ll need to take all three points to best protect their top spot.
Second-placed Olympique de Marseille could be caught out in the derby against Nice. The ninth-placed team is capable of anything; it’s difficult to predict how this match will unfold. There’s also a very attractive match-up between Lens (3rd) and Strasbourg (4th), teams determined to stay in contention for European qualification. It should be a great game to watch.
Lille (5th) must capitalize on this duel when they host Paris FC (11th), an interesting team, but one that seems to lack the consistency needed to compete at the highest level. Monaco (6th) and Rennes (8th) are poised for a thrilling clash between teams with potential, but lacking consistency. Lyon (7th) must take advantage of this opportunity to climb the table when they travel to Auxerre, an 18th-placed team in crisis. However, they should be wary of a potential comeback.
In the relegation battle, there are crucial matches between Brest (15th) and Metz (14th), FC Nantes (16th) and Lorient (17th), as well as Toulouse (10th) and Angers (13th). These last two are a little further from the red zone, but need points in order to get out of danger.
