This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) faces Monaco (8th) at the Stade Louis II for Matchday 14 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (kick-off at 5 pm, CET). PSG coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting eleven, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches, and the risk of suspensions, after having selected the squad for this game.
It’s difficult to be certain about the lineup, as the players’ physical condition needs to be known. There was the Champions League match against Tottenham three days ago, but coach Luis Enrique had already implemented significant rotation last weekend. Also, the next match is in a week against Rennes (Matchday 15).
We could see something close to a “first-choice” team, even if it’s not easy to establish given the high level of competition. The team will be competitive, that’s for sure. The exact formula chosen, taking into account the different player forms and the analysis of the opponent, remains to be seen.
Possible lineup:
Kvaratskhelia – Mayulu – Lee
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Zaïre-Emery
Chevalier
Substitutes– Safonov, James, Beraldo, Boly, Zabarnyi, Ndjantou, Barcola, Dembélé, Mbaye, Ramos.
Unavailable – Doué, Hakimi, Marin, Mendes (blessure).
Possible suspensions for yellow cards: Bradley Barcola, Lucas Hernandez, and Gonçalo Ramos.
This suspension would be effective for the match against Metz on December 13th, as part of Matchday 16 of Ligue 1.
