This Saturday, during Matchday 14 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, Paris Saint-Germain faced Monaco at the Stade Louis II. After a match where the Red and Blue delivered their worst performance of the season, they lost 1-0. Here are our player ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Lucas Chevalier (7) – A very good first half. He could have been called out for a nasty tackle, but he held firm. Some good saves.
Defenders –
Warren Zaïre-Emery (5) – An energetic first half. He found his legs in a lethargic PSG side this Saturday afternoon. As is often the case, he faded in the second half.
Marquinhos (4) – A decent first half, but his leadership on set pieces is questionable. PSG conceded a lot. We didn’t recognize the European champion center-back pairing.
Willian Pacho (4) – Uncomfortable on the ball, his first half in duels was quite poor compared to usual. It can happen, but PSG, like his teammate, needs more attentive and decisive defenders on set pieces. Quite disappointing.
Lucas Hernandez (5) – A good first half from him. He made the most of the space behind the defense quite regularly. That’s encouraging. Probably one of PSG’s best players, which says a lot about the overall level of play.
Midfielders –
Joao Neves (3) – A very average start to the match from him. He wasn’t much better afterward.
Vitinha (4) – Less prominent than usual, he struggled to make an impact in the first half. A less impactful match.
Fabian Ruiz (2) – A rather disastrous first half compared to his usual standards. He made a lot of technical errors. Replaced in the 83rd minute by Gonçalo Ramos.
Forwards –
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (3) – A very average first half. He was replaced by Ibrahim Mbaye in the 76th minute.
Senny Mayulu (2) – He started the match worryingly. Struggling offensively, he gradually improved, but it remained far from enough. He defended well, but couldn’t put together a complete attacking performance. Frustrating. Quentin Ndjantou replaced him in the 64th minute.
Lee Kang-in (3) – This is a player who was in good form, but it didn’t show in this match. He was wasteful, quite rare for him in Ligue 1, and above all, he offered very little. A match to forget. Ousmane Dembélé replaced him in the 64th minute.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (3) – We know he wants to rotate the squad, give everyone a chance, but by constantly changing players, he ends up losing his way, and his players along with him. Mayulu is struggling, Ramos is wandering around the bench, and Mbaye, who was a real asset, is sidelined. His team is weaker with these absentees; perhaps it’s with some consistency that they can perform better. He’s going to be frustrated after this match, that’s for sure.
