This Saturday, during Matchday 15 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, Paris Saint-Germain faced Rennes at the Parc des Princes. After a match where the Rouge et Bleu largely dominated, they won 5-0. Here are our player ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Matvey Safonov (7) – If anyone made a strong impression, it was him. His two crucial saves showed his hunger for success. He did almost everything right in his match.
Defenders –
Warren Zaïre-Emery (7.5) – One of PSG’s best players this Saturday. He displayed attacking prowess, but it was defensively that he was particularly impressive. Substituted by Quentin Ndjantou in the 80th minute.
Marquinhos (6.5) – A good match for him; he’s back in form. He was in complete control tonight.
Willian Pacho (6.5) – As solid as ever, he inspired confidence and kept the opposing attackers in check.
Lucas Hernandez (5.5) – He had an average game, but he wasn’t under as much pressure as one might expect. He gave his all and showed aggression.
Midfielders –
Joao Neves (6) – Still a long way from the great Joao Neves, but even so, he did things that helped the team move forward. He provided another assist. Substituted by Ibrahim Mbaye in the 80th minute.
Vitinha (5) – A decent match, nothing more. He didn’t shine as brightly as usual, but he did some simple but useful things for the team. Substituted in the 71st minute by Fabian Ruiz.
Senny Mayulu (6) – Not an easy match for him, but he scored, boosted his confidence, and finished on a high note.
Forwards –
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (8) – Finally, a quality match this season for him: a goal, some powerful runs, keep it up. His second goal, full of passion, clearly shows he’s improving. Substituted by Gonçalo Ramos in the 71st minute.
Bradley Barcola (5) – A bit frustrating; he has so much speed he could have been very dangerous. He had his chances.
Lee Kang-in (4) – Not a great match from him. He battled hard but couldn’t make a difference. Substituted in the 64th minute by Ousmane Dembélé.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (6.5) – He knew when to avoid taking risks with Dembélé, even though it was tempting after a defeat. He continued to show faith, particularly in Mayulu, who scored. He continues his quality management, much to the chagrin of those who only judge based on the immediate moment. His PSG side is less dazzling this season, but with such a depleted squad, he’s doing a pretty good job of what he has to do.
