Rafinha, an attacking midfielder who came through the ranks at FC Barcelona (leaving in 2020) and also played for Celta Vigo, Inter Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain (2020-2022), officially ended his career on Monday evening. He had been without a club since his contract with Al-Arabi SC expired in 2024.
Rafinha doesn’t hold a particularly prominent place in PSG’s history, even though he had some good performances. His time there ended rather quietly. In particular, he struggled to return to form after contracting COVID-19. It’s regrettable. However, we can still acknowledge that he has always been professional and has never had a negative word to say about the Parisian club.
