As after every matchday, L’Équipe has named its Team of the Week for Matchday 18 of the 2025–2026 Ligue 1 season, played this weekend (results and standings available here). With their 3–0 victory over Lille at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain see three of their players included.

It was unthinkable for Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old forward) not to be selected after scoring a brace, including one sensational goal. He has rediscovered his touch of magic, and it is a real pleasure to watch. He is also a major asset for PSG. The team was also able to rely on in-form “full-backs,” with Warren Zaïre-Emery (19-year-old midfielder) once again filling in brilliantly. Nuno Mendes (23-year-old left-back) was essential in PSG’s dominance and creativity during the second half.
It is hard to see which other Paris players could have made the team. There was no truly outstanding individual performance, even though the collective effort was strong enough to suffocate Lille. There is also a high level of expectation surrounding PSG, not to mention the fact that other Ligue 1 players also deserved recognition.
