This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain (2nd) faces Auxerre (17th) at the Stade Abbé-Deschamps for Matchday 19 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (kick-off at 8 pm, CET). On Wednesday, PSG released clips from their training session, featuring several key players returning.
Ibrahim Mbaye (17-year-old forward) has returned from the Africa Cup of Nations, while Lee Kang-In (24-year-old midfielder/forward) and João Neves (21-year-old midfielder) are also back after injuries. Neves’ injury was very short, while Neves was sidelined for several weeks. This is already excellent news, even if it’s not guaranteed they’ll play on Friday.
It’s still something to hope for, at least, for Mbaye and Neves. Now we’re waiting for news on Achraf Hakimi. The 27-year-old right-back was also at the Africa Cup of Nations, but he started the knockout stage, while Mbaye was a substitute. Not to mention that the Moroccan returned to action during the tournament after a long injury.
