This Sunday, during Matchday 21 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faced Olympique de Marseille at the Parc des Princes. After a match where the Rouge et Bleu largely dominated and even impressed, they won 5-0. Here are our player ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Matvey Safonov (6.5) – He performed well on the two saves he had to make, remaining composed with his feet without being particularly outstanding. It was a good performance; PSG didn’t really need more tonight.
Defenders –
Warren Zaïre-Emery (6.5) – Very solid, as usual. It wasn’t his most memorable match recently; it must be said that the attacking side made a strong impression (with the goals). Substituted in the 74th minute by Lucas Hernandez.
Marquinhos (7) – He repelled the danger in the few dangerous situations and pushed his teammates to a higher standard.
Willian Pacho (7) – Imperious, as usual. We’re getting used to his composure and strength in duels.
Nuno Mendes (9) – The Portuguese full-back was monstrous. He shut down Marseille by winning his duels and caused real problems with his penetrating runs, even providing the decisive assist for the opening goal.
Midfielders –
Joao Neves (7) – He tormented OM with his relentless movement and high energy on every ball. A few inaccuracies, however.
Vitinha (7.5) – The Portuguese was the leader in midfield. The week off seems to have done him good.
Senny Mayulu (6) – He’s not yet as creative and spontaneous as he was in his best form, but he was more precise in his play. His defensive efforts shouldn’t be underestimated. Substituted in the 74th minute by Dro Fernandez.
Forwards –
Bradley Barcola (7) – He won his duels with Timothy Weah, created numerous chances, and never held back. He just lacked a bit of precision to be decisive, but it’s still important. Substituted in the 66th minute by Lee Kang-In.
Ousmane Dembélé (9.5) – Aggressive in his pressing, mobile in open play, creative, scoring twice, including a superb goal, and providing an assist, PSG’s number 10 was impressive. Substituted by Gonçalo Ramos in the 74th minute.
Désiré Doué (6.5) – He had some good ideas, but lacked a bit of luck with his shots (including one that hit the post). However, he was involved in the attacking play and didn’t hold back defensively. It was an encouraging performance. Substituted in the 61st minute by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (10) – PSG swept aside OM tonight, being superior in every aspect of the game. And everyone was involved, including Dro Fernandez. What more could you ask for?
