Désiré Doué, the 20-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder/forward, had to be substituted by Ibrahim Mbaye at halftime of PSG’s match against FC Metz this Saturday evening at the Parc des Princes, in the 23rd round of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. This was due to what appeared to be an adductor strain.
It’s not yet certain, but Doué was seen showing his adductors just before halftime. His subsequent substitution caused some concern, but it could also simply be a precautionary measure. We must hope so, because the season of the Parisian number 14 has already been very hampered by injuries.
