Paris Saint-Germain are working behind the scenes to extend the careers of their key players and top performers. RMC Sport reports that the Parisian club is keen to extend 16-year-old striker Ibrahim Mbaye. The media outlet assures us that for Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes, aged 26 and 21 respectively, the club is very confident. As for Vitinha, 24, an extension is imminent until 2029.
It’s been “imminent” for a few weeks now. At some point, these players will be very close to re-signing with PSG. We’re waiting patiently, because the files are well underway.
These are important players, and the club needs to implement a strategy to keep the right people and avoid repeating the mistakes of the past. There’s no doubt that the idea is to secure the players in the event of a departure too, so as to avoid leaving free.
