This Sunday, journalist Benjamin Quarez announced the signing of a trainee contract with Paris Saint-Germain for 17-year-old full-back/winger Toumani Diagouraga. He is now reportedly tied to the club for the next two seasons.
“PSG recently signed a trainee contract with Toumani Diagouraga (born in 2008), a full-back/winger now committed to the club until 2028.
He scored the decisive goal in the Gambardella Cup semi-final against Nantes.”
Given that this journalist is generally reliable regarding PSG’s youth academy players, it’s reasonable to assume he isn’t being so definitive without more concrete evidence. Even so, we can only be certain with an official announcement. This should be good news coming soon, with a young talent joining PSG and receiving a significant boost in confidence. Although it is not yet a professional contract, it is a particularly significant step.
