This Monday, a small portion of the Paris Saint-Germain squad will be training ahead of the full squad’s return on Wednesday (to be followed live). According to L’Equipe, Lucas Chevalier (24-year-old goalkeeper) will take advantage of this to return to group training.
Having suffered a right thigh injury during a session on April 29, the PSG goalkeeper is expected to resume full training this Monday.
The former Lille player will participate in a reduced session, with the regular starters expected back on Wednesday. Chevalier can therefore hope to be included in the squad for the Champions League final on May 30 in Budapest against Arsenal.
This is good news for Chevalier and PSG, even though the goalkeeper unfortunately missed his chance at the end of the season, as Matvey Safonov (27 years old) will almost certainly be in the Champions League final against Arsenal on May 30. It’s always better to have the most complete squad possible.
We also hope to see good news about Achraf Hakimi (27-year-old right-back), Willian Pacho (24-year-old defender), Nuno Mendes (23-year-old left-back) and Quentin Ndjantou (18-year-old midfielder/forward).
