Ousmane Dembélé, the 29-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker, spoke to Canal+ after the penalty shootout victory (1-1 in regulation time, 4-3 on penalties) against Arsenal this Saturday at the Puskás Arena in Budapest in the 2025-2026 Champions League final.
Dembélé: “It’s a great night.”
Are you relaxed as if it were the most natural thing in the world?
It’s a great night. We worked hard this season to achieve this back-to-back title. It’s magnificent, we’re very happy, we’re going to savor it.
Are the feelings even stronger because the journey was tougher and the final was extremely difficult?
Of course, it was difficult. The whole season was difficult; we had to manage a lot of things. But in the end, we’re still the Champions League winners, and we’re all happy.
Don’t worry, what was your injury?
It was cramps; everyone got cramps at the end.
