Paris Saint-Germain’s season ended last Saturday with their Champions League victory in the final against Arsenal, and preparations for the 2026-2027 season are already underway. RMC Sport announced the Parisians’ preseason schedule this Saturday.
“While some players will be able to return to training as early as July 20, the official start date is scheduled for Saturday, July 25. However, don’t expect to see many stars at the PSG Campus that day. The Parisian club has 16 players in its squad who will be playing in the 2026 World Cup for nine different nations. These World Cup players will benefit from four weeks of rest after their country’s elimination.”
PSG will have some time to prepare, even though competitive action will resume soon: there’s the Super Cup on August 12 against Aston Villa and the Trophée des Champions on August 16 against Lens. Players from the World Cup will be returning gradually. It’s still a significant improvement over last year. It will take time for the team to reach peak form, of course. We can, however, hope for greater consistency. And let’s not forget the potential for new signings to bring in at no cost.
