After 14 years, Didier Deschamps’ tenure as France’s head coach came to an end following the 2026 World Cup. Attention now turns to the identity of his successor, although it seems all but certain to be Zinédine Zidane. The French Football Federation announced today that the official reveal will take place during a press conference.
“FFF President Philippe Diallo will present the next France head coach on Tuesday, July 28, at 11:00 AM, during a press conference.”
It will take just a little more patience to see the new era of the French national team fully get underway. Barring a massive surprise, it looks set to be led by Zidane—and expectations will undoubtedly be sky-high..
