Paulina Dudek, the 29-year-old Paris Saint-Germain defender, has extended her contract until 2029. In an interview with PSG TV, she discussed her ambitions and her delight at continuing her journey with the capital club.
Dudek: “Everything I’ve shown so far has earned me this extension.”
What does extending your contract with the club mean to you?
“It’s a source of great pride. I never imagined I’d spend so much time at the club. Everything I’ve shown so far has earned me this extension. I still want to give so much more.”
What motivated you to extend your contract with PSG?
“I believe in the project and in this group of players. I also believe in the coaching staff. That’s what motivated me to extend my contract. It’s also an opportunity to play in big matches, given our Champions League qualification. We want to give the fans some great moments.”
Dudek: “I believe we’re going to experience some great moments this year.”
Do you feel ready to start the new season?
“Of course. Towards the end of last season, I was playing more regularly. Now, there are several very good players in the same position, and that motivates me even more. I hope this competition will lead to better results for the team.”
What are your goals with the club?
“They haven’t changed. I’m still here to win matches. I’m happy to be here and to be part of this group. And I believe we’re going to experience some great moments this year.”
A message for the fans?
“I’d like them to know that every time we step onto the pitch, we give it our all—and that’s exactly what we’re going to do in every match this year.”
