The 2026 summer transfer window in France officially closed this Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM. Clubs can no longer sign new players, though they can still sell, as the transfer market remains open for a few more days in certain countries—particularly outside Europe. As for PSG, it was a busy summer:

PSG focused primarily on sales—at least in financial terms. The balance sheet is significantly positive, all without selling players who started in the Champions League finals. In fact, in the cases of Gonçalo Ramos and Lee Kang-In, they sold players who saw very little action during the knockout stages. That is a remarkable feat.
This also allows for calm, measured recruitment. Paris did not engage in massive spending; instead, they targeted players who fit their philosophy while remaining willing to meet the selling clubs’ demands.
PSG thus appears to have fostered greater competition within the squad while generating more revenue from sales than expenditure on signings—a rare achievement. Much like winning a Champions League treble—the club’s stated goal for this season.
