What is doubt? I don’t know. I don’t understand the concept, sorry (laughs).
You’ve faced personal criticism; do you feel you’re off to a good start this season?

I haven’t seen it! That comes as a surprise to me, because I don’t pay attention to that sort of thing.

A welcome victory?
At one point, we needed to put an end to the situation we were in at the start of the season—we just couldn’t seem to win. But today, we’re very happy to have taken the three points. That was the most important thing today.
Safonov: “I’m a bit happier than usual.”
Was this your best match of the season?
This season? Yes, I think so. It was very important for me; it was my first clean sheet. That’s huge. We didn’t have much luck early in the season. We faced few shots, yet conceded a lot of goals. Today, we turned that situation around a bit.
Brest had their chances to score, but we managed to fend off every attack. Today, I’m a bit happier than usual. I didn’t concede a goal—it’s the first time this season.
