On Saturday at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain secured a 3-1 victory over Le Mans in Matchday 6 of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season. Here are the ratings awarded by Le Parisien and L’Équipe to the capital club’s players (find our own ratings here).
Le Parisien:

L’Équipe:

- PSG wins but makes the evening harder for itself
PSG beat Le Mans (3-1) on Saturday at the Parc des Princes. It was a deserved victory, though less comfortable than the scoreline suggests. Beraldo opened the scoring from the penalty spot. Paris then allowed the newly promoted side back into the game due to a lack of precision and vigilance. It took four substitutions to regain their rhythm and make the decisive difference.
The team’s average rating was 4.73 across both publications. Nothing shocking there: the three points were secured, but several starters left the heavy lifting to the teammates who came on later.
- Akliouche finally seizes his chance
Akliouche didn’t get everything right; at times he hesitated or drifted out of the game. But he kept taking on defenders and eventually scored with a fine left-footed strike. His rating of 7 in L’Équipe—the highest among the PSG players—rewards the genuine impact he made on the pitch. That goal matters. Now, he needs to build on it.
Alongside him, Godts and Torres had little impact. The Belgian made numerous attempts but failed to beat his marker. Torres, meanwhile, squandered a one-on-one opportunity. Kvaratskhelia’s introduction quickly highlighted what had been missing in the attack. In midfield, Vitinha restored order, Ruiz unleashed the shot that led to the second goal, and Zaïre-Emery set up Akliouche. Cleaner play and quicker decision-making—that inevitably changes the complexion of the match.
- Beraldo scores but fails to convince
Beraldo’s penalty shouldn’t make us overlook his risky passing. In the holding midfield role, such errors can prove costly. Combined with Dro’s inaccuracies, this made what should have been routine build-up play unnecessarily difficult for Paris. The low ratings are understandable; scoring doesn’t grant a free pass for the rest of the match.
At the back, Hernandez lost track of Mafouta during the equalizer, while Zabarnyi occasionally lacked authority. Digne deserves more credit for his quality deliveries to Akliouche and Hakimi. As for Safonov, his late saves proved valuable; even with the score at 3-1, he was still kept busy.
