Lucas Hernandez, 29-year-old defender for Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team, had left the Paris squad in the middle of preparations for the Club World Cup 2025 Round of 8 (this Sunday against Inter Miami at 6pm CET). There was an excellent reason for this: the birth of his daughter. A wonderful event that went off without a hitch.

It’s always a great moment to experience, obviously more important than a soccer match. We’re happy to see that everything went well, with Hernandez and his partner able to welcome their daughter. We can only wish them happiness and good health.
We’re now waiting to see when the defender will be back in the PSG squad, even if that’s not the main thing right now.
