Gabriel Moscardo, an 18-year-old defender, signed for Paris Saint-Germain in January before recovering for several weeks from an ankle injury. He will now wear the Parisian shirt for the first time at the start of the 2024/2025 season. Speaking to PSG’s official website, Moscardo gave his first interview, in which he expressed his desire to speak French.
Moscardo “I don’t want to speak English with a Frenchman”.
“I’ve been learning French in Brazil for 4 months in a French school. For me it’s very important to speak French, to respect the French at the club and around the club. To speak more easily with people on campus and all the people in Paris. I don’t want to speak English with a French person. I want to speak French with a French person to respect French people.
It’s a dream for me to join Paris at such a young age.”
Any player in particular you admire at the club?
“Marquinhos, because he’s Brazilian and he’s the captain. He has a wonderful history with this club.”
