L’Equipe reports that things are changing at Paris Saint-Germain. Youcef Bouamrane, assistant U17 coach, is to become head coach. Yannick Dumas is stepping down, but will remain at PSG with new responsibilities.
“With the end of the season approaching, the decisions made by the training center management also concern the educators. PSG has decided to appoint Youcef Bouamrane, until now an assistant, as personal coach of the Under-17s.
Yannick Dumas, who has one year left on his contract, is stepping down from his post, but will remain in charge of this generation with a different mission: “It’s often like that when we’re in the middle of a new generation.“
It’s often the case at the end of a season that changes are made for the following year. So one coach is going to take over the main role for next year. We know that PSG is very attentive to its training, that it wants to train its players as well as possible, and therefore train them with a precise philosophy with a view to one day, perhaps, integrating the pro group.
