Neves “our ability to win duels and be ready to suffer for the team.”
How was the victory ?
I think it was a very good match. We know that it’s not the end, that there’s still a game to go. We’ve already been in Arsenal’s position, against Liverpool, so we’re ready to fight to win the game.
This is the 3rd English team you’ve faced this year, and you seem to enjoy the intensity ?
Yes, the Premier League is physical. We have to show our best, our ability to win duels and be ready to suffer for the team, to suffer for PSG. I think this kind of match is good for us, so that we can progress and be better.
Neves “you have to have fun with and without the ball.”
Do you really seem to be enjoying yourself on the pitch ?
Yes, at the moment you have to have fun with and without the ball. In Ligue 1, we have the ball more. But in a Champions League semi-final, you can’t have the ball 80% of the time. You have to suffer, so you have to work hard (smiles).
Are you sure you’ll be able to finish the job in Paris ?
We’re sure we’ll do our best, as we do at every match. If we’re at 100%, we’re close to achieving everything.”
