This Tuesday at 9pm (broadcast on Canal+Foot), Paris Saint-Germain take on Arsenal at Emirates Stadium in the first leg of the Champions League 2024-2025 semi-final (return on May 7). According to RMC Sport, the Parisian club will see 2,500 fans in the stands.
“NEWS @RMCsport: the Parisian park remains blocked at 2,500 places despite the club’s representations to UEFA and the local authorities to have this capacity raised to 3,000.”
It’s a great turnout, of course, and we know that the Parisian fans will be there to cheer PSG on throughout the match. But we’re a little disappointed, since we thought beforehand that there would be 3,000 seats available.
We don’t know exactly why. It’s a point of tension in this semi-final, but let’s hope that the Parisians can respond appropriately in terms of atmosphere and on the pitch, with a qualification at the end that will make us forget the inconvenience.
