On October 31st, Paris Saint-Germain will face FC Barcelona on October 1st in the second matchday of the 2025-2026 Champions League. The match was originally scheduled to take place at the Camp Nou, after extensive renovations. However, Mundo Deportivo now reports that the historic stadium will not be ready and that the match will now take place at the Monjuic Stadium.

There has recently been talk of the construction being completed on time to hold the match at the Camp Nou, but the Catalan newspaper now claims it will be too late and that Barça will temporarily return to Monjuic. The stadium where PSG qualified in the second leg of the 2023-2024 quarter-finals. Let’s hope Paris will once again experience some thrilling European action.
