Despite a very interesting match, Paris Saint-Germain lost to Bayern Munich on Matchday 5 of the Champions League group stage (see Bayern/PSG video summary). It was a sad end to a very intense match for the Parisians, who lost to a mistake by goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, which led to the only goal of the match, and an inferiority after Ousmane Dembélé was sent off. Bavarian blue coach Vincent Kompany spoke to Canal+ about the match:

Kompany: “We were already pressing hard in the first half”.

How did you find Paris Saint-Germain?

I don’t know, I don’t think it’s for me to judge. I know it’s interesting from France to know what I think of PSG, but the most important thing is what my team did. I think that in the first half we were already pressing hard and we recovered a lot of balls. In general, it was a difficult match, but I think we approached it well.
