This week saw the eighth matchday of the 2025-2026 Champions League group stage. As a result, UEFA is holding various votes among fans. Paris Saint-Germain, who drew at the Parc des Princes against Newcastle on Wednesday (1-1, have two players selected for UEFA’s Team of the Week.

It’s understandable that PSG is absent; they disappointed collectively once again. There were some interesting individual performances (Willian Pacho, Vitinha, Warren Zaïre-Emery, and Bradley Barcola), but it wasn’t enough. Neither to win the match nor to earn a place in this highly competitive Team of the Week. There were, however, some outstanding performances this week that deserve recognition.
