This week saw the first legs of the 2025-2026 Champions League quarter-finals played (the second legs are on April 14 and 15). UEFA then organizes various votes among the fans. Paris Saint-Germain, who won at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday against Liverpool (2-0), did not have a player in contention for the Champions League Player of the Year award. The competition was between David Raya (Arsenal’s 30-year-old goalkeeper), Manuel Neuer (40-year-old goalkeeper), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (PSG’s 25-year-old forward), and Julian Alvarez (Atletico Madrid’s 26-year-old forward). Neuer won the award.
