This Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Chelsea at New York’s MetLife Stadium in the final of the 2025 Club World Cup (kick-off 9pm CET, broadcast on DAZN). Paris coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting 11, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches and suspension risks, after having formed the Paris squad for this match.
There’s an almost “type-team” that has become established at PSG with each performance, even if the competition never stops with coach Luis Enrique. There’s plenty of doubt about the choice between Désiré Doué and Bradley Barcola on the right, unless there’s a surprise with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on the bench.
As for the rest of the team, doubts surround fatigue. Paris managed a little against Real Madrid, but it’s not unthinkable that they could do with a breather. Warren Zaïre-Emery could benefit from this in the middle. Even if we’re expecting the “usual” trio for this last match of the season.
There are almost no suspensions in defence, given the suspensions of Lucas Hernandez and Willian Pacho.
Possible line-up –
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Beraldo – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma
Substitutes – Safonov, Tenas, Kamara, Mayulu, Moscardo, Zaïre-Emery, Barcola, Lee, Mbaye, Ramos.
Out – Kimpembe (injury), Pacho, Hernandez (suspension), El Hannach (choice).
Possible yellow card suspension: None would be reinstated for competitions in the 2025-2026 season.
