Gusto: “We wanted to punish their weaknesses.”
World champions — how does it feel? It’s an incredible source of pride. This was a clear objective, and we achieved it. We’re thrilled for the club and the squad. A lot of people spoke badly about us, and we showed what we’re really about.
How did you hurt PSG? We knew they could move the ball and keep possession, so pressing was key. Once we won it back, we wanted to punish their weaknesses — and we did.
Gusto: “The coach wanted us to prove ourselves.”
What was the manager’s message? That we’re not always respected in this project. People say we don’t know how to win trophies. The coach wanted us to prove we can go toe-to-toe with teams like PSG — and win titles.
