The draw for the Round of 16 of the 2025-2026 Champions League (to be played on March 10-11 and 17-18), as well as the quarter-finals (April 7-8 and 14-15) and semi-finals (April 28-29 and May 5-6), will take place on Friday, February 27 at 12:00 PM CET. Paris Saint-Germain is among the clubs that could be involved, as they play AS Monaco in the play-off round this Wednesday (having won the first leg 3-2). Where to watch the Champions League play-off draw?
This event will be broadcast on sports channels (L’Equipe, beIN SPORTS) and Canal+, and also streamed live on the UEFA website, free of charge. We will publish the draw in writing, updating it live.
How does the draw work?
“Clubs are paired according to their final league stage ranking to form four seeded pairs (1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 5th and 6th, 7th and 8th).
The clubs in each pair are drawn to face a winner of the knockout play-off, whose position was determined during the play-off draw.” (UEFA text)
The higher-ranked club from the league stage plays the second leg at home.
There is no limit to the number of countries or clubs already faced in the league stage that can be included in the draw. The entire bracket will be determined from the Round of 16 draw, even though it is already predetermined.
