L’Equipe:

The ratings seem fairly accurate for a French team that secured the essential victory, but wasn’t particularly brilliant. Except for Michael Olise, who scored a hat trick, including two superb goals. Having such a player in such good form is certainly good news for the future. However, it’s also clear that this French team still has work to do to find the right formula, even if there were some interesting moments of collective play.
