This Wednesday, June 3rd, with Paris Saint-Germain’s season officially over and the possibility of savoring the 2025-2026 Champions League title won last Saturday, there’s a small event to celebrate today: the birthday of Désiré Doué, the midfielder/forward, who turns 21 today.

Arriving in the summer of 2024 after difficult negotiations with Rennes, Doué needed time to adapt to life in Paris. Some even doubted his ability to establish himself. Those doubts have been completely dispelled since January 2025. He has grown in stature and earned a place in the Champions League, culminating in being named Man of the Match in the final against Inter Milan.
Often positioned on the right, though he enjoys considerable freedom and still loves attacking from the left, Doué knows how to create chances and finish them off. And he never forgets to defend. With his versatility, raw talent, and determination, he is understandably appreciated by the staff and the fans. Not to mention his clearly displayed love for PSG. The former Rennes player also earned a place in the French national team during his time in Paris and is among the players expected to shine at the World Cup.
We can only wish him continued success, and a very happy birthday, of course.
