This Tuesday, the French Women’s National Team will play Ireland in a 2027 World Cup qualifier at 7:30 pm CET at Tallaght Stadium (broadcast on France 4 and RTE). Ahead of the match, Le Parisien and L’Equipe have attempted to predict the starting lineup that coach Laurent Bonadéi will field. Five Paris Saint-Germain players, all French, will be in the squad: Elisa De Almeida, Thiniba Samoura, Anaïs Ebayilin, and Sakina Karchaoui. Only Hernandez is expected to start.

On the Irish side, the plan was made quite clear to the press, given that they are hosting one of the best teams and intend to put up a strong fight. A defensive approach therefore seems quite logical, even if there could always be a surprise. As for the French team, their lineup looks very credible, notably with Karchaoui likely to play in midfield, as was the case at PSG. We’ll still have to wait until tonight for confirmation, as always.
