On Friday at the Stade Océane, Paris Saint-Germain secured a 1–5 victory over Le Havre during the 9th matchday of the 2026–2027 Ligue 1 season. Below are the player ratings awarded to the Parisian side by Le Parisien and L’Équipe (you can find our own ratings here).

L’Équipe:

Hakimi shines, but PSG’s performance lacks consistency
PSG conceded the opening goal but quickly set things right, never allowing any doubt to creep in. Their commanding 1–5 win at Le Havre was largely thanks to Achraf Hakimi’s surging runs, supported by an attacking unit that effectively created space for him. While the final score is emphatic, the individual performances were not all equally impressive.
Hakimi takes center stage
Lucas Hernandez found him with a ball in behind, Senny Mayulu supported his runs, and Mika Godts returned the favor. Hakimi exploited every inch of space, ultimately recording a hat-trick and two assists. A rating of 9 from both publications seems well-deserved; his free-kick added a spectacular flourish, but it was his movement that truly turned the tide of the match.
Godts and Mayulu make their case
The Belgian, Godts, is stringing together performances with increasing precision. He capped off a team move to score the equalizer and later set up Hakimi for the final goal. Mayulu, meanwhile, brought much-needed mobility to the attack—delivering a perfectly timed pass for the captain, making intelligent runs, and scoring following a botched clearance by goalkeeper Arnaud Bodart. In contrast, Ferran Torres is still struggling to make an impact; in a match that saw five goals, his lack of involvement in scoring opportunities is notable.
The scoreline doesn’t tell the whole story
A rating of 4—given by both outlets—highlights the ongoing struggles on the left flank. Additionally, Illia Zabarnyi lost track of Josh Maja during the opening goal. Matvey Safonov did what was required, aided by the woodwork. Up front, Akliouche sought to orchestrate play, though he didn’t always find the right solution. The average ratings—6.00 from L’Équipe and 5.73 from Le Parisien—reflect a victory driven by a few standout individual performances rather than a collective masterclass.
The 8 awarded to Luis Enrique by L’Équipe acknowledges a rotation strategy that proved effective. While the tactical adjustment involving Akliouche could still use some fine-tuning, Mayulu and Godts both stepped up when called upon. The coach successfully rotated his squad while finding solutions in the final third.
