Various line-ups are possible; Le Havre might adopt a particularly defensive approach against PSG, given that the league’s bottom-placed side is currently going through a difficult period. One cannot rule out a tactical gamble by Digard, aimed at springing a surprise and livening up the match, in the hope of catching a somewhat inconsistent PSG side off guard.
The PSG line-up is also uncertain; despite some absences, the squad offers plenty of options, though some rotation can be expected. The schedule is packed, and the Champions League returns this Tuesday against Villarreal (matchday 4 of the league phase). The players on the pitch will need to be fully focused and ready to fight to secure another 3 points. We have faith in the high standards set by Luis Enrique’s PSG, though we also know that these types of matches can be somewhat unique.
It remains to be seen what specific selections will be made to find the best possible setup. We won’t know for sure until about an hour before kickoff, when the official team lineups are announced.
