On the sidelines of Monday’s press conference to discuss tomorrow’s 2024-2025 French Cup Round of 8 match against Le Mans at the Stade Marie-Marvingt (kick-off 9.10pm, CET), Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique was interviewed by PSG TV. He discussed his team’s main strengths, their preparations for the busy schedule and their opponents.

I’d say mentality, quality and above all resilience (smile).
The schedule is intense. How hard do you work with the staff to prepare the team ?
It depends on a lot of things. But I think it’s difficult to avoid injuries. Soccer is a contact sport. It’s impossible to avoid it. But when you’re in a good frame of mind, it’s easier to turn things in your favor.
Luis Enrique: “It’s going to be a tough game and we’ll need to be focused.
How will you approach tomorrow’s match ?
A lot of Ligue 1 teams have been eliminated, so it’s a different competition. We have to be attentive. We have to think that they’re a team from a lower division, but that it’s going to be a difficult match and we’ll have to be focused.
