Behind Paris, the Europeans move forward.

PSG have missed too many more chances and are losing points, as well as surrounding themselves with a few more doubts ahead of Tuesday’s decisive Champions League match against RB Salzburg. We mustn’t forget the good things in the game, but it’s time to score in order to move forward.

In Ligue 1, there’s no need to dawdle, as we’re now just 5 points ahead of OM and Monaco, who logically lost to Toulouse and Saint-Etienne 2-0 and 0-2 respectively. Paris has what it takes to be champion, but the competition won’t wait either.

The latter are also fully in the race for Europe, which remains very tight with victories over Lille, Lyon, Nice and Lens. It’s not often that everyone advances at the same time, but this time the calendar allowed it, and no one missed a beat, whether against Brest, Angers, Le Havre or Montpellier.

Nantes takes a breather and hurts Rennes.

The only good operation at the bottom of the table is also a worry for the other side, as Nantes beat Rennes 1-0. In doing so, Nantes moved up 4 places and gained in confidence after their 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes the previous weekend. Rennes, on the other hand, are back in doubt after their 5-0 win over AS Saint-Etienne.
